I'm Lisa, and my practice primarily focuses on adolescents and young adults who are navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, relationships, and life transitions. I approach every individual with a client-centered care and incorporate elements from various therapeutic modalities into my sessions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and journaling.

I'm Carolyn, a biracial clinician with nearly ten years of experience working with adults and adolescents who are experiencing challenges related to grief/loss, separation/divorce, parenting, issues around race, women's health/reproductive issues, chronic mental health disorders, issues around aging, and general life transitions. My approach to therapy is client-centered and solution-focused, and I often utilize elements from CBT and DBT to inform my practice.
Welcome! My name is Morgan and I work with people of all ages. In my practice, I focus on psychoeducation, building insight, and learning how to set healthy, effective boundaries. I am neurodiversity and trauma informed and specialize in working with LGBTQIA individuals. I offer therapeutic art, as well as, a combination of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic. On occasion, my therapy cat, Waffles, joins me at the office!
A graduate of the University of Michigan's School of Social Work, Ms. Phillips has a diverse background in the social work profession. Her experience includes community mental health, child welfare services, and ACT teams. For 16 years, she supervised various programs at Elmhurst Hospital’s Department of Psychiatry in Queens. Throughout her career, she has also worked in a private practice setting on a part-time basis. In 2020, she joined the dynamic team at The Teal Door and now works full-time with adults, utilizing a strengths-based and client-centered approach. Ms Phillips is primarily located at the Mahopac office or via telehealth. She is licensed to work with clients in both New York and Connecticut.
Mark Renchner-Kelly, LCSW incorporates a holistic approach in his therapeutic style, and focuses primarily on meeting clients where they are at to begin the treatment process. Mark incorporates Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and psychodynamic concepts to address client symptoms from a trauma-informed perspective.
Mark specializes in working with adolescents and adults, and is experienced in working with clients who are suffering from mood and anxiety disorders, interpersonal issues, and substance abuse.
By collaborating with clients and encouraging them to use their own identified inherent strengths, Mark focuses on helping individuals create treatment goals towards self-actualization.
Hi there! I’m Alana, one of the therapists here at The Teal Door. I work individually and with families in a collaborative setting focusing on meeting clients where they are at. My practices focuses on aiding clients in managing/regulating emotions, coping with life difficulties such as anxiety, and depression, and becoming the most genuine version of self. My educational background and experience within the mental health field, has shaped me and continues to shape me into the clinician I am today. I joined the collaborative and supportive team at the Teal Door in 2021 and frequently work with adolescents and adults utilizing a person-centered and cognitive behavioral approach. My clients attend in person sessions, tele-health, or both. I look forward to meeting you!
I’m Deanna, and my practice primarily focuses on adolescents and adults who are facing life challenges related to trauma, anxiety and depression. I use client centered techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma Treatment Interventions.
